 grtn hello friends went out fri night ,peir in jersey city hayatt hotel.had clams, gulp bloodworms and some bunker 8pm till 10 nada.patience is the key .. slt

their biteing good at hudson county park in bayonne some bigger fish are back in a 34 in was caught a acouple days ago on worm

hey guys whats up? bayonne, i have a few questions. when is the best time to fish at the park? and what is the best tide? also, what should i use for bait? sandworms? is their any specific spot i could try? thanks in advance.  t^

most of the fish bite after dark but some days its a good day time bite tide its funny one week its high tide is best another its low tide both sands and bloods are produceing and the left side going down town is the best you could save alot on bait look for a guy named richy he digs his own and sells some you will get a better bait and price with him bloods tend to hold on the hook better so that would be my choice
theirs guys fishing their every day so if you stop by you will get a good report as to weather its worth your time

thanks for the tips, only went out once this year and got skunked. i want to try it sometime soon but with volleyball season i dont get too much time. the first regular season game is tomorrow, wish me luck.

good luck gymrat and we will hook up when the fishing gets hot for top water bass and blues by stop and shop we usally do good on the newark bay side with bait and have done good on buck tails and swim shads but havent gotten any big ones on lures all of them have been on bait worms and bunker i live acouple blocks from vets so i go their and hudson county and on acation 16th street or 1st street and atlantic cement
but im buisy alt my self im a boy scout leader at troop 19 our lady of mnt carmel and hunting and work and fishing my son made eagle last year and is now in cologe

thats wierd, i used to be a cub scout at troop 19 when i was younger, from about 1999-2003.
