Sat 3/29 surf report
« on: March 29, 2009, 03:04:54 AM »
Sucked azz, period.

Late start after my Kids BB practice. Hit the Hook with my bud Mike and worked the last of the incoming, and stayed until the outgoing got cranking. Drizzle, fog in and out, east wind, it sucked. Not a bump, water temp 42 degrees on the meat thermometer. Figured somebody had to be the first to catch out front -------wasnt us.

Bounced to Leonardo. Same M.O., nuttin in an hour.

Moved over to the Port Monmouth flats and same sheot.

Last ditch at Cliffwood....yada, yada.

Hit the tides ALL WRONG but fished when we could.

Fished clams and sands (NICE sands at Julian's by the way)

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY - 10 AM, @ the Hook, dude walks up 70 -80 yds east of us. Strips to his (ahem) speedos, jumps in, gets out, dresses, and leaves. crap, we were rolling!!!!!! All in day I guess!!!

Great effort Duff.

At least you had some entertainment at the hook with Mr Speedo.  TT^
