Angela Rose Charters 4/25
« on: April 25, 2009, 06:42:54 PM »
Met up with Captain Joe, Bob G, Hareball, and Captain Wayne @ 7:30 for a short shake down slash winter flounder fun trip. Made a quick stop at the bait shop for worms and clams and off we went. First drop produced one keeper immediately for Captain Wayne. About 1 hour later 1 short comes up for Bob G, and then 1 more keeper for myself. We chummed for about another hour and a half then decided to move. Next drop a little too much current for the liken, but stuck it out any way for about an hour before calling it quits. All in all a lot of laughs and ball busting with a great bunch of guys. Looking forward to our next trip.

Yes, it was a fun trip.

Current was ripping pretty good, floating the baits in the river with 4 ounces of lead. nts

One of the party boats reported five keepers and we did not see or hear of any action from others.

Yeah, CaptBob, I do think this will be the last you will see of winter flounder fishing for several years. :-X

The fluke trip we did with Capt. Anthony at the helm- she ran really good in the slop and following seas. t^
