Fished Norma K III
« on: May 26, 2009, 12:47:12 PM »
Was down the shore with the girlfreind for the weekend in seaside, decided to stop up in point pleasant to go out on the Norma K. Weather was beautiful. Did the afternoon 2-630 trip. Didnt land any keeper fluke myself, nor did the girlfreind. But there were maybe 3 or 4 on the boat. A few nice, I wanna say 2# seabass were caught. I caught a few small seabass and big skates, so did my girl.
One of the Mates was snagging bunker, and livelining them, about 15 min from the end of the trip, everyone on the boat heard that reel scream. 30# striper was brought in by a kid maybe 7 years old. Awesome time, had a few beers, everyone on the boat was nice, had a great day! I will be out of atlantic highlands on the Eagle 7 am this coming saturday with my step dad and his hunting club, we rented the boat for 8 hours.
