Raymarine C-120

I have the Raymarine C-120 display. I'm trying to change the setting from day to night but I can't seem to find where to do it. The manual looks like a change pallete button should be displayed on start-up but mine is not showing it. Does anyone have this system and can you help me out? I can't see at night from the glare off the unit.

I believe it goes like this...with the unit turned on press and release the power button. Do not hold it down or that will turn it off. Just press and release and I believe the light level will come up on the screen.

I have the C80 unit. I will be at the boat tomorrow and check it to make sure I have it right.

I have that unit  never messed with that setting..  If what Joe said doesn't work  pm Capt John from Perfect Drift.

I have the same unit and Capt. Joe 's way is right. Also the buttons will light up as you lower the brightness level.

  Thanks guys. That makes sense. The manual showed the power button. I'll give it a try when I get to the boat this afternoon. I appreciate the help.

Also as Capt John pointed out to me.. if you register your unit on Raymarine.. they have a video section that is pretty informative.
