Tuna Tales Wednesday Live Lining Bass to 36 lbs
« on: June 11, 2009, 09:19:39 AM »
Had my good friend Anthony Berlinski (life long friends growing up in Linden) and my fishing friend Joe.

Spoke to my dock friend Capt Joe of the Irish Ayes and he told me there were bunker right outside. Thanks Joe.

Had fish right outside the inlet in the pm and went 2 for 6...with heavy boat traffic knocking down the bunkers and bass.

Got a call from Capt Alan Beneroff (Hi Mar Striper Club buddy) that he had bass busting around his boat. Made the quick run and did well with bass up to 36 lbs landed and released by Anthony - his personal best.

Chased the breaking bass for the next 2 hours and ended up going 13 for 21. Kept the smaller ones and released the larger ones.

Awesome bass day!!

Thanks again Alan for the help.
