Welcome member #2000 grtn w00t!!

The surf is usually always the same...hit or miss!  They have been getting bass and blues when they are there, pretty much every where in the OC/MC area on bunker, clams and lures(mainly pencil poppers and lures).  IBSP has been hot some days and slow on others...  It is certainly worth a try and always worth fishing.  I would focus on predawn/dawn or dusk as good times to fish!

Good Luck!

Awesome, thanks for the response.

I just moved down to Toms River and I am used to Fresh water but have done SOME saltwater so I need to get out there.

Thank you.

PS Do I get anything for being the 2000th member? LOL

Yes, all the free fishing advice and more, you could ask for...and a great community to be part of and share your great outings and catches.  Great group of people on here that will help you in any way they can...most will even go above and beyond!

Welcome to the site member #2000. As others have said, you will get all the advise needed and just for the asking.

I'm sure you will be able to hook up with some members who fish the IBSP area. Nothing better than hands on advise.  t^

All the free fishing advice I am looking forward to and also meeting up with some of the people here would also be nice.

I currently work up in Union county so my time is mostly spent commuting back and forth but the night time bite might be my best bet.

First time I go down I will post it and maybe some of us can meet up.

Steve

Welcome Aboard TRSteve,

Congrats on being #2000.  I live in Toms River and know the park pretty good.  Where in TR do you reside.  I am on Duchess Ct. between Raleigh Dr and Utah Dr. the small ranch.

If you want to link up send a PM and it would be my pleasure to show you the area.

Right now the beach is doing pretty good as a couple of B&T sites have been getting writers cramps listing the fish caught lately.  Baits of choice are clams and bunker chunks or pencil poppers.  This is a good time of year where there is a lot happening.

Again Welcome Aboard.

Happy Catching

Paul
