Had Darren, Charlie and Joe (wow 2 Joe's on the boat today) out sharking today. Decided to run SE and find some warmer water...set up about 51 off to the SE is powder blue 63.4 to 64.4 water. Ended up going 8 for 8 on blue sharks to 150 lbs. All released. Nothing big. No makos.
Had perfect drifing conditions - .5 kts, great water, good water temp and 2 draggers go right by me but no makos.
That is shark fishing.
Great day and it was so nice to be all alone for 9+ hours taking it all in.
The blue sharks were fun and hit pretty hard.
