Sea Girt Reef?
« on: June 30, 2009, 01:56:57 PM »
hey grtn hows everyone doing? I have a couple of quick questions. Has the reef been producing any keeper fluke or is it too early? And how far is it from the manasquan inlet?

Thanks

If you go to NJ Saltwater Fisherman Hot Links there is a link to "Charter Viewer" this should be "chart". Look between Manasquan and Shark River inlets for "Obstruction" about 9 fathoms and approx. 4 miles off Spring Lake. There is lots of structure stretching north and south out to over 80' or 12+ fathoms. yes, fluke have been and are being caught along with sea bass. There are lumps inside of this area that also produce. Use your GPS/fish finder to locate specific spots on the reef. Good Luck  t^

Hah. I think I need to fix that.

For those that use fire fox.. when you move the map around you will see a water marked cross hair.
