Orlando and I headed down to ATL Highlands harbor for a shot at some flukies.... decided not to leave too early and what a mistake.... NEVER AGAIN will i launch after 730am..... full of lunatics and people with just NO CLUE..... Doesnt seem to matter anymore if you pay for a spot there or not as people are just ok to park anywhere, then ya got the guys who back down the ramp THEN decide at the waters edge to remove the straps, remove THE SPARE TIRE OFF THE TRAILER, LOAD THE RODS AND LUNCHES, ETC........
Ok done with that rant..... fortunatly its ALL up hill from here
The Balkinator and i pounded the fish down the beach despite the continued dirty water conditions, had our 2 man limit by 11am and played catch and release for another hour and a half ..... Happy to say I put Orlando on his new personal best which went 9.2 lbs at the scale and I even added an 8 lber to the pile....
Biggest thrill of the day was hearing that my buddy chuckie hooked a 10 ft thresher and actually getting the giant to the boat before the fish said enough is enough..
