YSA Fluke 7/19
« on: July 19, 2009, 06:52:27 PM »
We had Ya Sista'z A$$ out for an early trip today with buddy Jeff and Crew: Tyler, Trevor, and Vincent. Wanted to get the stink off from the past few trips, but also wanted to get the kids on Action with a capital A.

Cruised around looking for bird or bait action thinking bluez, but none to be had. Wound up at the Triangle, so figured get a few drifts under our belt, maybe we can make this a fluke assassin trip...

A few shorts, moved over to the Red Bank Reach where it was game on for a few long drifts down the green side; everyone was whacken em, but all short. Trevor was hookin up big time and landing every one; everyone else was haulin flatties too. Couple two on at once; kids were havin a blast.

Everyone else in the area moved in to join the fray so we figured let's try the red side all by ourselves.

Vincent musta dropped in right on Papa Fluke's head he boats a 19"er that was fat. Jeff follows with a slammin 21er. Quite a few at 17+ and released 2 right at 18". Set up to repeat and I added a 19er and everyone else had more shorts.

We stopped counting around 20something everyone had some flatties and all fish were target fish, no RB garbage fish grand slam today.

Moved over to the Keansburg area where we dropped the hook and BBQed up some hammboogies and dogs. Good meal was the signal I guess for nap time, cuz everyone was nodding including  Jeff.

I was runnin around keeping everyone happy so Jeff got most of the action shots but here's a few I took while I was taking a break.

Good day, perfect weather, and STINK OFF!
