Raritan Bay Flukin' 8/14
« on: August 14, 2009, 07:14:59 PM »
Started out of Keyport.Caught a live well full of peanuts and head for the 11a can.Caught a 18" right off.Unforunately that was first and only keeper there.Caught quite a few fish there, but all small.Moved out to Reach where there was a good pick of fish.Put 8 fish in the box to 7#.Saw the Lucky Carm land a 32" 10+ pound fish.A real monster.Nice going Carm.Way to put them on the fish. They'll be talking about the one that didn't get away for a long.Gave Dennis  a shout that the fish were chewin' and he came out to where we were and put a few in the box,he got a late start with the t'stat problems.Looking forward to next week, the way they were chew'n today.
