With hurricane Bill churning offshore it looks like a pretty heavy swell coming for the weekend.. We'll remain tied to the docks this weekend, as I suspect will many others. So lets have some good fishtalk.. As my saltwater experience is somewhat limited, maybe some of the njwsf seasoned salts would be generous enough to share their knowledge concerning how these storms effect fishing after their passing... I know the heave will likely stir up the bottom inshore.. How long before things begin to settle
How is water temp effected
How do various fishes react/reposition after storms
What effects can it have on offshore/midshore pelagic fisheries
What about the Surf
What are potential benefits of such events
With the wealth of knowledge posessed by the members of this board, I'm sure the answers will be of great value to us all
