Fish Monger Fluke Finale Fri 9/4

Well still cant believe its over...

Sailed Our Last Fluke trip for 2009... And We Went Out In MONGER Style!!!

Had Scubanut Ryan , His Father Shelly and Son Nick, Along with Greg, Tommy and Mr Bob Bates for the last slicks with the flatties...

Headed out to a washing mashine with a Strong North wind and Big ne swell...
Got to the inlet and seen some boats turning around... we creep out and the further North we got the nicer it got...

Started at some snags in 55ft, drift was very fast... had to lead Up... Picked up a keeper a drift along with shorts and seabass.... Plucked 11 Keepers before that died!

Had a little lull Bounced around... Just catching some shorts... Headed Further north and got a pick of Nice keepers! Boxed Like 10 More keepers Few over 5lbs also had some seabass and throwbacks...

Just before It was time to end we Hit a spot on the way back and finished of the season nicely... Greg got a beauty 8lbs 2oz fluke... and shelly added one more for the magic #

Congrats to Bob Bates with another fluke LIMIT+ on da Monger, Little Nick with his biggest Fluke of the year... Shelly with his first LIMIT and his Biggest of the year... Greg with his whistle 8lber and Tommy and Ryan with 5 lbers!

By day the crew Boxed up 25 Keeper Fluke and 15 Keeper Seabass... 5 of the fish were over 5lbs up to 8lbs!

Wish it wasnt over but Nice way to end the season!

Time to fill some coolers with seabass Porgies ling and 6 Blackfish ! Got some room next week give a buzz... lets go fishing!

Great job!  Certainly finished Monger Style ;D!  The FEDS cannot average the season quota off of you guys...the Monger certainly throws the curve WAY off.  Great job as usual this season.
