outriggers
« on: June 18, 2007, 08:57:26 AM »
got a pair of Rupp outriggers with my boat. They are prolly like 20 ft long or just look that big LOL .. Should I sell these or save to use? I usually only stay in the bay  other than striper cant think what else to use them for in bay.

Thoughts ? Ideas?

i would save them. i have a 21' striper walkaround, and plan on inshore trolling, and i'm debating getting them. actually i know i want them, just not the funds for those right now, got other stuff to get 1st.

so unless you are dead against running out and trolling save'em. wont hurt to throw them in the trusses in the garage.

I agree with Reel Time.  You may not be fishing outside now but who knows what next year will bring.  You may go trolling on someone elses boat and enjoy it.  You already have the gear and it is costing you nothing to store it, so just find an out of the way place for it.
