Look at the venue...food there will be pretty good TT^

Crazy Alberto will also be speaking. One of the nicest guys and a wealth of fishing information.

I may even be manning a booth there. t^

I look at it this way:

I could stay home on that Saturday, with the $100 in my pocket.

My daughter will want or need something for at least $50.

My wife will also want or need something for at least $100.

This will also include driving somehwere and some kind of work around the house or yard, and at the end of the day I'll need $20 worth of Whiskey to relax.

Now I've just spent $170 on a normal Saturday at home, happens all the time.

OR:

I could spend my $100 on the show and enjoy a relaxing day out making new friends, eating some good food, and learning a thing or two about fishing, all while saving myself $70 !  ;D   <'((((><

Fishing Dude's logic makes pretty good sense.  I was not going to go then I read his post and said, I should go.  However, glad I checked my work schedule and I am working that weekend, so I am out.

I was looking at the Saltwater Sportsman's show in Feb.  Is that worth going to?  My case; I am an experienced fisherman, but I just moved up here so I do not have any experience fishing the Jersey coast.  However, I think my experience along VA and NC will carry me over, but looking for that good local knowledge.  Y'all's thoughts?

I will be doing this seminar. Already signed up for it.  t^

Hope to do the Saltwater Series also. Will have to see how things pan out.

As Bucktail posted in a different thread, go to the Somerset show (info on front page), lots of free seminars there.  t^

It sold out quickly last year. They do keep it to a pretty reasonable crowd.

It looks pretty cool. t^  Some of the topics are intriguing.  But, I'm having a problem choosing five seminars that I really want to see.

For those of you going, what seminars do you plan to sit in on?

Bob, for me it will be a choice from #s 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 18, 19 and 20. Will have to see the times, etc and make a decision from there.

Oh yeah, the lunch seminar should be first class.  TT^

Since my schedule wasn't going to allow me to go to the Saltwater Sportsman Show, I woke up this morning with the intent of signing up for this show.  Unfortunately, it is now sold out! _:"

Oh well!  Day late and a dollar short... ;D
