Shark River Black Fish w/ Capt Joe 11/10
« on: November 10, 2009, 05:21:43 PM »
Had the pleasure of jumping aboard The Irish Ayes today with Capt Joe and Joe's friend Ron.  Headed out around 9:am to dead flat ocean.   Made our way North to the Black Fish Grounds  and it was basically drop and reel all day.  ( Hotrod ).. that would be me. ;D  showed off his Black Fish skills and Boated a couple nice 4.10 lbs out of the 50 or so fish caught today.

Pulled the hook a little early. and ran back South looking for any Striper action.  Lots of bait....  but as the screen read.. there was nothing on them..  One batch of bait.. we picked up some large red marks around them...and I ( Me again ) was able to jig up a nice pole bending Blue  ;D

Thanks Joe.. That was a fun trip t^

The third Picture shows what Sea Gulls can do to a dock..  the Last picture shows what it looks like when you fish every day and hose it off.

Unreel what those birds do to that dock.. and look at that black top on the boat on the left  cfzd

Nice job guys!  I hate those rats with wings, except when they show me where the fish are...they do make a mess.

The seagull poop wasn't then only poop me and Ron had to put up with today.  ;D

This was the very first "godda" trip ever on the Irish Ayes.

All day long it was Rod saying...Joe, you "godda" hook for me?...Joe, you "godda" sinker I can use?...Joe, You "godda" tie my rig for me...Joe, you "godda"  pair of pliers?...Joe, you "godda" pair of scissors for da bait?

Was still a fun and productive trip. t^
Glad to have you guys aboard today. Will be out the next weather permitting day. Can't wait for the tog to get to the 6 fish a man limit. So far we would have had our 6 fish limit every trip.

Great job Capt!  t^

Sorry to hear you had to play mom today and wipe Rods butt for him...  ;D

Maybe it would be better to have him bring one of his chairs and let him hold the fish box open as you fill it.  rofla
