Left SRI about6;30this morning to perfect conditions.Was undecided North or South & since my crew backdown at last minute went solo.Headed north up past AP few marks here & there but no takers on the jig..Finally got up to Sandy hook bird action galore.Tried jigging but guys running right through the birds.not once but a couple times.Went on the troll in 25' of water about 3/4 mile off the beach while guys were working birds up on the beach..Was showing good marks on the bottom & bamm .1st keeper followed by at least a dozen shorts & 2 more keepers & kept 2 blues biggest was34" Nice talking to you out there steve from the SEAHAWK,,Hope you did well for your guys!!!! Back at the dock by 11am & home for the games Great Day for a change!!!! Was using Eddystone Sandeel umbrellas!!!!!
