History did NOT repeat itself today.....

Dirty water improved throughout the day but the BASS did not bite.  We can see 'em!!

On the way home, we did have gannents diving outside the inlet and we are confident tomorrow will be a better day.

Great effort. It is tuff when you see them there and can do nothing to hook em up.

VERY frustrating, its one thing when you cant find 'em, its a big ocean...its a WHOLE different ball game when you know theyre staring at you from the bottom!!

I think the bluefish have moved off...little chilly for em now.  It was an awesome bluefish year.

I am confident we havent seen the last of the stripers.  Last year we had a little nasty weather keeping us tied to the dock for a week straight and then it was GAME ON!!

I don't think the bass fishing is over either. From all reports there are still fish way north that need to take the trek down.

Far from over guys  They're just getting real fussy. The last couple of days the smaller lures and teasers were the best producers fished very slooooowwwww in the surf. Fish were seen actively swirling,tailing etc. but were not hitting the usual stuff. Also smaller fish are showing up and they won't hit the big metal only the teasers. Hope this helps
