I have actually used it a few times to hold spackle!
1 - tie a 10 ft rope to the handle, throw bucket in the drink, tie it off a stern cleat when trolling stripers. Gives just enough drag to slow the boat down into that oh-so-slow striper trolling speed.2 - Drill 1/2" holes 4" apart all over bucket, place 10 lb steel plate in bottom (grabbed a weight lifting plate at a garage sale dirt cheap) add 4 gallon frozen clam bellies and sink it to thne bottom. Places the chum slick right in the feeding zone.
