As I posted in the boating forum, Bought the 18 Sea Pro last week. I bought it so cheap that I could recoup my money just on the trailer. Anyway when I picked it up I took the engine cover off an saw critter nests around the bottom of the block. (no lower unit) Figured that how they got in. I hand turned the flywheel engine wasn't seized. Took the boat home( about 100 miles. Braved the cold weather Saturday remove the spark plugs, heavily doused the top Cylinders with oil. Took off the Carb Cover, to my surprise out came 2 mice from the bottom carb.
The carbs were packed with nesting including foam from the cowl
. The guy was right when he said there is plenty of life left in that engine
