Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Planning on heading down to the Wildwoods next weekend did a search on NJ Saltwater fishing tackle and you guys came up. Freshwater fishing for years want to try surf fishing. Been a fireman for 35 yrs and the firemans convention has been held in Wildwoods for all that time. Looking on some ideas as to the best Saltwater tackle to get started with. I tend to buy better than entry priced stuff so I don't outgrow it 2 weeks in. Thanks!!

Welcome. I would suggest making a separate post in the surf fishing or helping each other out boards. People will find your questions much easier and you'll get more replies than in this thread.
