I found this site while trying to find a charter boat for this summer. I have belonged to Noreast Saltwater for years and have been looking for something similar for New Jersey and it looks like I've finally found it.

My son invited me to do some salt water fishing around Rumson, NJ on 6-1. Neither of us has fished there. I have only done off shore salt water.   so I figured I needed to do some research. This site is almost the same as the ones I Am a member of in NE Pa for soft water and icefishing.  Did a search on the net and there you were.

Won't have much to offer in the beginning as I am a novice  but as time goes by I'm sure that will change.

Thanks for helping!

Found this site by surfing around the web looking for a bait shop and a place to surf fish.  Gave up on salt water a long time ago, but I am getting the itch to spend more time around the water now that my kids are older.  Liked the info. available on this site so decided to sign up.

Welcome Aboard Joe,

Even though I am a surf rat I do use the fishing reports of the boaters.  Please post weather good or bad as it helps everyone target their species a lot better.  Tour input is good for everyone.

Plus any questions you may have will be answered here without the sarcastic hassle you find on other boards.

Happy Catching

I was looking for some info about NJ fishing around my area and I googled my way around the internet until I found this sight.  I am a member of RFA and I figured that I could find some site of interest for mostly in shore fisherman.
