As most know, I just purchased a boat.  I would like to thank everyone who participated in answering my questions and giving your opinions and advice on my purchase.

Jawz, thank you also for you input.  I understand you were watching out for my best interest, but I did have a sense of security knowing that Dunk was my surveyor.  I do know that you were just trying to help out.

All of your input, advice, suggestion and help was greatly appreciated.

During this process, everyone I had contacted about my purchase, Dunk, Trenton Marine, and Jersey Shore Navigations were given leads to this site.  Hopefully they all join us and help us grow larger and stronger.

Electronics will be done by Tuesday.  got my trailer registered today.  If all goes well, I will pick it up from the marina next Saturday and use the rest of the week, including good Friday (which I have off of work), to get my gear on, touch up the bottom, and give her a good cleaning.  Hopefully I will dunk her Saturday of Easter weekend, if not then, the following week.

I took a look at my new slip and I don't have floating docks this year, so it is going to be tricky trying to tie her up for the first time, especially since I won't be there at the turn of the tide to see how she is laying.

at least she's not taking up space in your yard. and in the buyer's market at least you reaped the benefits on your new purchase...
