Hi, I'm a new member...

Hello everyone. I just registered last night and forgot to say hello first. I live in NY and have been fishing since I, well I can't remember exactly when I started. I'm 47 so as far back as i can remember family picnics to Captree and OrientPoint parks. My Father always took me fishing on skiffs and to the parks when I was real small. Some of my best memories of my Father are of us fishing together when he was still healthy. I'm looking forward to some fun fishing this summer.

Welcome Aboard dabeeza,

I think the majority can relate to your experience and wish we had one more cast with either our father, uncle, or grandparent.  In most cases that wish will have to be put on hold for a while.

The site is one of the most friendly sites on the web, with tons of information shared freely everyday.  Please, rummage through its archives and I am sure you will see for yourself. 

If you have any questions please just throw them out there ans be patient as the answers will be there shortly.

Welcome. I can remember driving out to your area(from N.J.) Flounder fishing in a rented skiff all day and driving back home afterwards.WOW !!! Young and restless... chrz
