LUNA SEA 3 is READY
« on: June 28, 2007, 09:21:40 PM »
Got the call today from Coty.  The had it for 10 days.  I will pick it up tomorrow and then I will go over the bill for everyone on what everything costs, labor, parts, etc. I will have her in the driveway tomorrow, power wash the junk off the bottom, then my next debate is wether or not to take her to Little Egg harbor and get some crabs for next weekend, or dump her back in AH and get those dam fluke an stripers.... decisions, decisions, decisions...  ???

Hi Nick,

Still waiting to see that winner blue claw ... the crabbing has been good here but the full moon probably will hurt for a few days.

Well, since its on the trailer, I can bring it anywhere, so thought it would be a good time to get those crabs.  Once I put it back in AH, it stays there until I pull her out to fill the gas tank again...  Maybe I will dump her in Seaside and try for crabs there. I love fishing, BUT CRABS ARE THE BEST EATING..

Luna

Read in the paper where the fish cleaning in the harbor is a hot topic.............quite the council meeting the other night....everything from fish cleaning stations and bagging you racks to the fisherman grinding them up...........

Come down to Highlands in the low rent district, we don;t have those problems......the 5-6 knott current takes them far far away TT^ TT^

Hi All,

In my marina, they talk away the cleaning stations 4 years ago. They blamed it on the insurance company for the grinder in the table (will hurt kids); then they said the state wanted people to dispose of them in the garbage and it was to tempting to clean them right there next to the water (someone would throw the rack in).

So I fillet them on my boat and then throw them in ... of course, after feeding the gulls to further tick someone else off.

Go fight for your cleaning station!

Hoorah,

Ed

I usually but my traps in at the edge of the bay and the round-a-bout creek.  I always did really good there.  They should be moving in good very soon. If you only get 6 keepers per pot,,,   then just put out 10 pots....

Hey, the fish are coming out of the water, why not throw the carcuses back in the water.. feed the bird, bait fish, crabs... it keeps the population well fed
