Big Blues Biting in Barnegat
« on: May 07, 2010, 08:41:01 AM »
two afternoons in a row went to Barnegat Inlet with a friend and caught some really nice sized Bluefish. started with metals with the fading light, then switched to fresh bunker. all together caught 10 blues, biggest being about 10 lbs. had a few striper swipes, couldn't land one though rgmn.

If your looking to just catch some fish, and can't get on a boat, try the inlet in the evening. clp

The inlet was alive with fish all day today.  The IBSP side was crowded. There were not many birds working today but the blues did not know that...

There was a lot of seaweed in and out of the surf today but the water clarity was clear.

Happy Catching
