Irish Ayes Bassing 5-11-10
« on: May 11, 2010, 07:39:44 PM »
Had Bob G, Johnny Oz, Matt and Ralph on board today. Headed north out of the inlet and went directly to the rocks.

Was looking but saw no life on the way up. Got some good marks upon our arrival at the rocks and the jigging rods came out. Proceeded to jig up a couple of keeper bass. Spotted some bird action a little north at the reef and made our way over to them. Got some more on the jigs.

Ran out of marks and decided to move wayyyyyyy north. Did a little trolling and managed a few shorts.

Ava 47s with green tail were the ticket today for the bass. Boxed six nice sized bass and released the same amount of shorts. Also had several swats without a hook up. Several follow ups to the boat without any takers.

Will be at it again Thursday.  t^

Good job Joe t^
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
