5/17 at the Rocks

left the manasquan inlet at 630... a ton of bunker right there.. with too many boats circling them we said screw it and just kept on north to the rocks... 4th trip in a row... just too consistent to pass up..

set a troll at the inner can and headed to the outer can... hooked up both rods at once, with 2 keepers.. tossed back the bigger one..


alot of boats, for a monday, jigging near outer can so we had to try... Big bass all over... hangin on the bottom... we stayed there for an hour or two just picking away.. then around 9 the bite shut off... and the blues found us...  couldn't even get the trolling gear halfway out without 2-3 of them jumping on...

we gave up after that... overall 15 big bass... kept 6 for the 4 of us for multiple dinners..
