Hunter 2, Thurs 5-20-2010 report
« on: May 20, 2010, 06:16:03 PM »
Pulled out of Keyport with Iggy from work around 7:15am to flat seas and great weather. Went down and trolled the 11a area and then tried Old Orchard,Lots of marks but no bites.  Made a move and looked around Romer Shoal and found plenty of boats doing nothing so we head off to Sandy Hook and clammed for awhile. NO takers at the hook so Back to the 11A area and clammed some more. I saw a couple of striper's come up on other boats in the 11A spot non for us. 5hrug
We trolled some more and pulled in some monster Bluefish and clammed one more spot that had blues on topwater, Thats always fun.
Back at the marina my friend said he was down at the rocks today and he had nice 20lb range Striper's on Bunker heads,  Another guy trolled up 2 big fish in the bay,          We will get them next time, t^   Very nice day on the water today. chrz
  Good Luck,, Eddie

Nice day on the water Eddie. Good try on the bass. The blues always give a great fight.  t^
