Met Bass Kid (aka TJ) & his Friend Joe at 5 am.
We loaded our Gear on Bass Kids Comfort Zone & we pushed off at 5:15 am.
The bay was abit choppy but once we turned the hook is was flat.
We ran down the Beach & found Bunker schools and snagged what we needed for the Live well.TJ made a slight move & I got a run off right away.About 5 minutes later I was hooked up.The first fish of the day was a 35 lber.We stayed in the same area but all the boat traffic scared the fish so I suggested we move to deeper water.TJ went north & we dropped anchor in 52.5 ft of water.I started a slick & put the fish on the clock.25 minutes later we started bailing them.1 after another.Bunkerheads were the ticket.Bass Kid & Joe both caught there Personal best & the 3 of us had a Blast.
Not 1 Bluefish ! Only Bass !
Smallest Bass was 21 lbs & the Biggest was 35 lbs.
A great trip on Bass Kids Comfort Zone it was !
Back at the dock at 2:30 pm & the crime scene was all cleaned up within a half hour !
