  hit  the  bay  yesterday - hoping  for  some  crabs  and  clams -  well  there is   a BIG 
  change  there - a  break  threw  in  the  dike  in  barnegat  inlet -  it  sure  has  changed  the  area - new  channels  and areas  that   were  deep  water  are sanded over -time   wil  tell   how  it  affects the  crabing  and  clammin     did  manage  2 limits
 of  clams  hard  clammin  saw  4  small  crabs   
                          oc

I reported that break through months ago.  The sand bags just did not hold up.n  They should of just left it alone. 

It happened after the first Nor'easter this year.  It looks like it should be pretty good for the fish migration.  I am looking forward to getting out there in the kayak.
