Back out for another day of Bottomfishing. Cigar Bob, Jack, Steve Seneff, Joe Jigs and His Father Tony, and the angler formerly Known as Nj Bob Rounded out todays crew.
Headed back to the seabass grounds in pea soup fog and zero vis... once we got a couple miles off the seas were also a bit snappy but fishable with the ssw Breeze.
Got set up and today the bite started out much slower. Few Nice keepers along with some shorts and then it would just stop. Bounced around a few drops Picking a couple of fish here and there. Again today all the keepers were of the Bigger size but didnt see the great life where you could sit.
Ocean laid down a Bit and the seabass started bite a Little better on our next couple drops. With a Blast of real nice size Keepers when we stopped then picked away at more keepers coming in shots. Steve also added a nice size Cod
Last drop of the day was the best with some nice quality keepers coming off it. When it slowed up we Made a few shifts here and we put some more in the boat.
Ocean started to get bouncy again so we stuck it out here and picked at em until it was time to head In.
Slower Bite Today but the guys stuck it out and fished hard to put a Nice Catch together in some tough conditions. Not to much short life today but the keepers were almost all quality size.
By Days End the guys Boxed Up 126 Seabass to 3lbs and 1 Keeper Cod, Released a few Blackfish as well. Not a Limit But a Nice Cooler Nonetheless!
Crew was Great!!!
Thanks again Guys!!!
