Time to get into summer mode.
« on: June 12, 2010, 01:38:14 PM »
Last night was a zoo out on the sand.  It was not a night of good fishing at all.  The beach had quite a number of rude people that just don't give a damn.  I guess it is time to go into summer mode and break out the kayak.  Time to loose the weekend madness and escape to the back on weekends.

I just don't understand why people have to have 500 watt lights out on the sand.  If you don't like the darkness stay home.

I know I am ranting but for goodness sake think of others around you.

I hope the beach gains some of its loss back because if they sell the same amount of passes this year and the beach is cut by half weekends will be by reservation only.  It is not going to be a good summer out there at all.

I don't know how many people got stuck but in my mind they deserve it, and at 200 a pop you might take up knitting its safer.

I agree with this statement, just in another sense up north a bit further (point pleasant).  I tried fishing last friday, i live 2 miles from the inlet.  It took me 45 minutes to get close to the beach and find a parking spot.  When i did get to fishing, i was bother so many times by, what are you fishing for, catch anything, what are you doing, and the best was, watch your line, i am walking in front of you here.

Thank god it is the last of the new moon, i will either fish from the boat at night or just say screw it and go fluking and sea bassin from now on.  I never really realized until this year how RUDE and horrible people can be  >:(.  If i had a kayake, i would be doing that but I dont.  Happy catching to all, tight lines and best of luck the newxt 4 or 5 days.  I might be out in the area tonight or the next few days.  depends on what the boss says  rgmn  thud.

The trouble with fishing is it was better before you got there, and after you left.
