Spinning reel covers
« on: June 12, 2010, 06:27:27 PM »
I'm looking for a few spinning reel covers.
I've seen ones on the beach that look like a canvas bag with a drawstring.  Anyone familiar with them?  Brand?
I did a little internet searching and all I found was neoprene covers.
If all else fails, next time I'm out and see a truck with them I'll stop and ask.
Thanks

What don't you like about the neoprenes?

It's not that I have anything against the neoprene, just that I liked the others (from a distance with no detailed info on them that is).

some reels come with a drawstring bag as OEM

maybe that's what you're seeing?

If you can't find those, I'm pretty sure we sell the neoprene ones.  Let me know how many you need. t^

Perhaps.  Probably ZB or VS...in which case the covers are worth more than my reels.

I have a couple Cabela Brand Reel Covers.  They are cordura nylon with velcro.  They have padding and come in a few sizes...I think the large should fit a surf reel.  I use the mediums on my freshwater reels and they work great...price is right too.

Just an option.
