Was sitting at the dock doing some maintenance getting call after call about the bass blowup outside the inlet.
Capt Birch from Fish Guts Charters stopped by to say hi and was nice enough to drop off some fresh blueclaws from the bay.
So after the 10th call and the storm passing we poked out the inlet. Got a few bunker from Capt Freddy in transit and rode 5 min to bass exploding on all sides of the boat.
Birch threw out his Bunker and it got inhaled in a sec making his stop by manasquan a fun one.
Fish went down but we did one more drift and Birch had another hit but thought it was a bass until we seen the huge tail. The big Thresher almost spooled him so we started to chase it with the boat but it busted off after a few more minutes.
Nonetheless some exciting events 5 min from the inlet!!!
