Stripers 06/12
« on: June 13, 2010, 10:23:28 AM »
Took my buddy around the hook at about 9am.  we anchored up at the spot and dropped clams and chummed heavy.  Boated a couple, including my friend's 1st of the season.  Had a few spit the bait at the boat as well.  All in all a good day until the wind and waves really picked up around 1pm, making it quite tricky to weave through all the fluke drifters at the tip.  It was like a traffic jam there!

Will be focused on the flatties until the fall.  Also was finally cleared to go back to work after my neck surgery so unfortunately I am not going to make it out as often as I have been.   rgmn rgmn

Much appreciated.  I have been kind of ignoring Dr's orders and have been alot more active (fishing) than I was told to be, but I feel fine and lord knows if my body feels like it can fish, it's gonna fish  t^

i was out in that area, but there was alot of horse playing on the radio from a bunch of azzholes, so I had no choice but to lower it.  I couldn't take all that nonsence any longer.

Man you're not kidding!!!  It seems like alot of guys use the radio as a babysitter for their kids while they fish.

It's ridiculous how much crap goes out over those radios.  Some people think it's their own private phone and others act like they have their own show.  ::)

It was, we went there for about 2 hours and it was just a bit too crowded for our liking.

congrats on the catches, unfortunately our boat didn't have as good of luck. Hit the Water a little late at 8am and docked back up at 6pm. We pulled up one 15" fluke, and a handful of dogfish and skates.
