Set out for another day of Live-Lining Stripers with the Greg Melara Charter. The Guys Got Blown out twice last year so we were really looking to finally having them aboard. 5 man Crew aboard today.
Headed out to some bunker right out side and tried to make our bait real quick as we knew from Capts Joe G and Richie(thanks guys) that they were already blowing up a little to our north... Left in 5 min with 12 pieces to get us started because we knew the bait up north was also thick.
Got on scene and the bass were spraying all over the Bunkers... set up and in 1 Min every bait got blow up on... we lost a bunch due to the immediate mayhem but managed to boat a couple in the mid 30's.
Just stayed in the bunker pods and had the bass biting every drift... Boating a few every crack at them. Action was great and the bass hung around all morning. Big spread of fish and Bunker.... Boats were spread out for 2 miles and catching!!!
The guys had a blast battling the big bass!!! Before lunch time the guys easily had over 30 Bites putting 15 fish in the boat to 38lbs Keeping a Limit and releasing the rest with Berkley Striper Club Tags.
Great day of fishing with an awesome crew!!! Looking forward to having the guys in the fall!!!
