Had DearOl' and Christine out early from the Keyest Port there is-- huntin' for flatty-boom-batties.
Hazy as we rounded The Hook and bounced around to a few spots closeby, Dad and Chris were hooked up, but all shorts. I added a string of 5 starfish in a row. Moved back inside to the Bug Light, but it was near low, and with no drift or breeze it was unbearable so we hightailed it outta there.
Moved up to Oakwood, where at least there was a breeze, but nothin doin'.
Back to The Reach, where we hit and missed with the fleet; did not see a lot of networking at all, as the drift picked up and it remained HOT.
Moved near 11a, where we hit a patch of fish away from the usual suspects, and the Capt. finally boxed one at 19". More shorts, more sun, Christine finally said no mas at 2 and we snuck back in under the bridge and got cleaned up before we melted. Dad went home with the fillets and a hot time was had by all.
