Left AH with Kevin (KPCOE) and his son Tyler and my buddy Mike around 1pm and bunker were all over inside of the bay and all over by the hook. Made bait and snagged and dropped for a few but no takers. Headed down towards the rocks stopping on bunker schools with no luck. Flucked for a while but its hard with bunker all over. after 2 shorts started bassing again and the blues came into the picture. lost too many rigs and bait. went south to see what was going on, hoping the tide change would and the vening hours would turn them on. No action all down to deal in and out deep. started back north again and finally said back to the hook for the sundown hour. It was like glass up there. Big difference from south. bunker schools all over spraying here and there. Only found blues in them. Did see some nice marks though. Had terns diving on what had to be bass eating small bait but could not get them to bite. losing daylight I anchored up for a bit to send chunks down but that only brought the doggies. 4th skunk in a row for me and 2 in a row for the boat.2 trips befor that only 1 bass each trip, not mine of course. I have to hit it one of these days. Wish I had a network like the charters and pb's. Anyone want to get onboard with a text network send me a pm. I usually go out once a week and twice a week in the fall.
