Fishguts Inshore Charters 6/21 6/22 seabassing
« on: June 22, 2010, 06:51:31 PM »
On 6/21 I had George and Uncle Carmine out for an all day wreck trip. Conditions were great but the bite was very frustrating. Read plenty of life but never got the numbers we had hoped for as far as keepers go. Plenty of shorts and we also made a blackfish drop for a little fun that produce over 40 fish that were released. The guys fished hard and I added a few to the box to finish with 45 keepers to 2.75lbs and a few ling.

On 6/22 I had boat regulars Nikki,Pat and Phil for an all day wreck trip. It was great to get Nikki out after being weathered out on his previous 3 trips. The conditions were great and the fishing was even better. The guys went right to work on filling the box with 13" to 16" fish with a few nice 18" mixed in. A short cod and a dozen blacks were released. It felt to read good sign and have them chew after yesterday. The guys finished with their 75 seabass limit and hit the dock early with smiles on their faces.
Right now there is a nice spread of fish in many areas. Its looking good for the fishing to hold up right into July.

just for you brother lol.  I had a few tasty ones for you . I would have been down your way a little sooner but stopped to check a few drops for blacks and fluke. Good show of blacks nada on the fluke. Still waiting for the  bait and skates to make a good showing before I really start looking for the fluke on the structure.

Either the guy in the middle called out sick from work or he told his wife he was going to be working around the house today. ;D
