NASTY FRONT ABOUT TO COME THROUGH
« on: June 24, 2010, 03:44:02 PM »
Just watching the Phillies game and in less than 5 min you could not see the field.  That front is coming toward the Toms River and south area with in a 1/2 hour or so.  Be careful if you are in our area.

This one looks pretty nasty also.  I was out earlier i Brick and the temp guage in the car read 105.  Here right now it is 97.  any little cold front will create problems with lightning.  I hope it cools things down a bit.

Thank goodness it missed us.  But wind gusts in Phila. hit 75mph.  everything went south through Burlington and Atlantic counties.

We had thunder, lightning, heavy rain and high winds here in Manahawkin around 4:30 or so.  It lasted maybe 20 minutes or more.

Temp dropped from a high of 101 today (on my car thermometer) all the way down to 76 during the storm.
