Heat Wave 7/6 -7/7....worth the sweat!

7/6 Had David ,Andy ,Matt and Mitchell onboard Tuesday for some fishing and decided in this heat...we are going to be in the ocean and not the bay...so south we went and fished the 50-70' spots and had a decent pull of SeaBass to 3 lbs and Fluke to 22 inches...Then the south wind shut it down (as usual)....except for them Bluefish, which we found working rainfish on the ride home.

7/7 Had The Michael Pogirski Family onboard and once again went to the ocean...Glad we did...First dropped the hook on a piece and had some Ling and Sea Bass right away...wind crapped out so we went East for some very slow drifts and were rewarded with Sea Bass to 4lbs and Fluke to 7lbs...also had 5 other Fluke over 4lbs today along with plenty of just keepers. Also Had Squid attacking our clams when our baits were being reeled in just below the surface. All in all a great day with Mike,Maura and Mike J.R.
