Today had a 3 person charter with Bill,his son "Boo" and boat regular Pat. The group was looking to fill the freezer with a load of tasty seabass fillets. Well they got what they were looking for with some fine quality fish in best numbers that I have ever had on a summer time trip. Tops fish was 23" and 4.75lbs and 8 others over 2.5lbs and many over 2lbs. Fishing was very good.I even got to add 25 to the box for a total of 100 tasty seabass and 2 fat ling for the fillet table. We also released a few 20"cod and blackfish up to 6 lbs. Todays trip would of been a homerun during best fall fishing days let alone the middle of July. Unless the seabass go into stealth mode we will be targeting them right through August.
