Had Josh Piotrowski's Charter aboard today. Tim, Eric, John, Chad, and Scott rounded out todays crew.
Talked it over with Josh and the guys opted for some seabass fishing rather than fluking.
Headed out to the grounds and we were on the mother load from start to finish... Drop n reel fishing... Seabassing at its finest. Best we have seen all year and we have seen some pretty darn good fishing up to this point.
Mostly nice quality size fish up to 3lbs along with lots of double headers... Lets just say the action kept the guys very busy.
Never even anchored just drifted a Few spots and slugged away at em at a fast n furious Clip. By 9:50 am the guys already boxed up their 150 Keeper 6 man limit!!!
Decided to go look for a few blackfish on a tog drop... was tough because it was also loaded with small c bass... managed 3 Keeper Blackfish up to Joshes 5.5 lbs Tog. Also threw back a few short blackfish and boxed up a few ling.
Ended the day drifting for some fluke... not much drift but they guys caught a bunch of shorts and managed to put 2 Nice keeper Fluke in the box!!!
By days end the guys Boxed Up 150 Keeper Seabass ( a 6 man Limit) up to 3lbs... 3 Keeper Blackfish to 5lbs+, 2 Keeper Fluke and 5 Ling and some eels for Bruce !!! Great day of fishing!!!
Josh and Crew were a blast to have aboard. Look Forward to seeing them in the fall!!!
