Fish Monger 7/20 Fluke Report
« on: July 20, 2010, 09:33:26 PM »
Headed out for a Day of fluking... Bruce, Branndon, Bob Bates Greg Vongas Tom O and Lav Bill rounded out todays crew!!!

Headed out to the never ending ground swell again today Started inshore In the sticky bottom... Had 3 Keepers our first drift... looked like they were gonna bite... repeated it nada... slide on some different line and we didnt have many bite Just some shorts and 1 More Keeper.

Headed off to deeper water and we had less life... the few fish we caught were nice but again nothing ya could repeat.

Went even futher off... Had zero drift.... dropped 3 Big fish which was a heart breaker... slid around only moving a matter of feet every drift... Picked a couple more keeper along with some shorts.

Decided to try some stuff on the way back home... Had a lot more current... had a better bite. it was heavy on the shorts but we managed to pick a few more keepers to end the day.

Seems Like everywhere we went there was a couple fish... But we couldnt Find any where that had a good Bite.

Tough Bite!!! Fished a Long marathon day and the guy grinded out 18 Keepers for the day!!!

Hopefully the bite will be better for us tomorrow!!!

Great crew as always!!!

Thanks again Guys!!!

I'm convinced the Fish Monger is really the Fluke Whisperer.  I've never seen anyone get such a consistent pick.   t^

Fluke Whisperer more like "FISH WHISPERER" These guys are always bringing nice bags to the dock no matter what they are fishing for!  TT^

I kind of envision Capt Jerry like the old Tarzan show, but with fish.  He finds his spot and then belts out a loud call across the water and they all just hop in his cooler.   rofla
