Any place to tie up and eat on the Raritan?
« on: July 20, 2010, 11:19:51 PM »
My cousin is heading in from PA and I'm planning on taking him fishing probably all day this weekend.  Rather than bringing the usual sandwiches I was wondering if there was a place I could tie up and grab some lunch anywhere in the Raritan?  I thought you could at Bahrs but I never could quite figure out where you tie up.

Try The Clam Hut it is located right before Bahras. Good food and a Tiki Bar. Good Luck.

At Bahr's you could tie up at the gas dock and talk to ED. he will hook you up with a place to tie up.

Bluerock cafe, Bar and restuarant,  Keyport, Go up the Matawan creek on the right side before the bridge. They have free slips waiting for you

You can pull into atl Marina and go into the resterant by Pete's, in the Shrewsbury in Highlands you have dock and dine at the Wind and Sea and Bahrs Resterant......or if you want to go up the Navesink river Barnicle Bills south of the Oceanic Bridge on the Rumson side.

Don't know if there is a spot to dock by the Blue Rock Cafe in Keyport is right on the water and a great place to go
