We were out there tonite for a while.  A little warm up trip, so to speak.
Surf was still rough, wind E 15-20, some cabbage in the water.  6-8oz to hold bottom, so bring the heavy metal tomorrow.
There's not much beach left in the area from A7 to A11.  At A9 the last high tide was in the set of tracks closest to the dunes.
Lets hope the wind and waves die down for tomorrow.
Everyone that's driving on, be careful.
We may need to park all the trucks parallel to the water.  And there's always the possibility we need to find a different spot.

I'm all set for the nite.  Got my big hooks and wire tonite.  I've got a big load of firewood and the truck is already packed.   TT^

Gonna be there with rods in hand and firewood in the car. I don't know how much bait I can afford, right now I need all the money I can save, but I really WANT TO GO tomorrow, so I am. I will just be throwing bait for the smaller fishys as I am gonna pass on buying too much tackle.

Steve

I am gonna need someone to come off the sand to get my firewood.. guess when I get there we can work something out.

Steve - I'm gonna buy a bunch of bunker, have plenty of rigs, and don't mind sharing.  You're good.

I would check with the front gate as they might close that portion of the beach if it gets bad during hi tide.

Kenny, will a 30lb swivel be ok to hook up to the bait molds or should I get a 50+lb?

Just called the guard shack. A12-17 is impassable due to beach erosion. They recommend we go down to 23 and come up if there will be a crowd.

Hotrod and I should arrive around 5:30ish tonight. Will anyone be there before that? If so, shoot me a pm, and give me your number and I'll call to see where you are. I plan on staking a banner in the ground for the people coming after me.

Paul, I still have your number if you'll be there earlier. I'll call you when I get on the island to see where you went.

Look for the NJSWF banner, attached to a white Ford Bronco.

Greg - I'm sure the 50# wouldn't hurt.

Jeff - Ken and I plan on arriving around 4.

Just spoke to Ken.  He's running around tying up last minute things.  He still wants to shoot for A-10 as it's a little late to change plans now.  My number is 732-300-1599.  I will be out there around 4pm to help him set up and what not.  Feel free to call me around 4:30 and I can give you an update on where we are, if by some chance A-10 is impossible to do.

If anyone has a problem locating the party, feel free to give a call.

Jason - 732-300-1599
Jeff (me) - 609-954-9440

And if anyone else would like to add to the list, feel free to do so.

The plans are to meet up, and set up camp at A-10, near the walk on access.

the surf was KICKIN all day today.. I sat on the beach, but the water was off limits due to high currents and waves.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
