John and myself out of Sayreville around 5:30 and met Stew(Salty Dog) and Ben at the 1 can Keyport and got some Killies off them as pre arranged, thanks again for the bait.we headed to the 18 in the Reach and were battling wind against tide with a 0.0 on the gps,we did manage a few shorts,gradually worked our way up the Reach with the same results,no drift.finally hit the TC buoy hooking up with Salty Dog and Ben again who had put 3 in the box already,there was a good drift here,drifting with them we put 2 in the box,then we sort of went our separate ways in the area and not seeing them gave them a call and they had limited out,at this time we had 5 in the box with me getting one that went over 5 lbs.we headed to them and got some more killies and peanuts as they were heading in,we fished until 2 putting 2 more in the box for a total of 7,caught a real lot of fish today,a lot of fat ones over that 17 inch mark but not 18.headed in around 2 and left them biting.
