fished today wit Balki (orlando), Capt Anthony (Staten Island Groper), and The Alabama Slammer (Neil Berkman) who is up for vacation to escape the Oil Nightmare.....

Well it was new turf day and so off we went at 0630.... started north outside from SHC all the way past Deal and all out deep.... picked here and there, with plenty of shorts... Water that whole stretch was absolutley filthy... man havent seen it this bad out there in some time.....

anyway wound up with 11 keeps, biggest going 6.3 lb ..... lotta little ones which is amazing .....

also came across a Delaware boat about 4 miles off of Long Branch picking up set nets that were loaded with dogfish and who knows what else...

may be out with the Cobra tomorrow.....

Great report and nice catch. t^ Were they smooth or spiney doggies? I have not heard of many being around. With quota increase I am sure they will find them lol. I have seen  the monkfish guys making some sets not to far offshore I guess they will be mixing it also.
